Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should be between 18 – 25 years for Post No. 01 to 04 & 18
– 35 years for Post No. 05 to 08 as on last date for receipt of
application. Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST
candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PWD (UR), 13 years
for OWD (OBC) & 15 years for PWD (SC/ ST) Candidates. For more

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised
Institute or Board with knowledge of English & completed
apprenticeship training in the trade and holding National Apprenticeship
certificate in relevant trade issued by National Council of Vocational
Training (NCVT) or Mechanic or equivalent with 02 years regular service
in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy and Air Force for
Post No. 01, 10th Standard pass from a recognised Board/ Institution for
Post No. 02, Matriculation and Proficiency in the Relevant trade for
Post No. 03, Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board or
Institution and knowledge of First time maintenance with driving license
for Heavy vehicles and Motor Cycles for Post No. 04, Matriculation or
equivalent from a recognised Board or Institution and Certificate of
Competency as Engine Driver 2nd Class for Post No. 05, Matriculation or
equivalent from a recognised Board or Institution with permit from
Mercantile Marine Department for Class II Driver for Post No 06,
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board or Institution with
swimming knowledge for Post No. 07 & Matriculation or equivalent
from a recognised Board or Institution with 03 years service in a sea
going vessel for Post No. 08 with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on marks obtained by the qualification & written exam.

format with latest passport size photograph (02 additional passport size
photographs for admit card and exit card self attested on the reverse
side and full name written) along with self attested copies of relevant
educational qualification certificate, date of birth certificate, SC/ ST
certificate, OBC certificate in an envelope should be super scribed
with “Application for the Post of —————— and Category ————- (ie SC/ ST/
OBC/ UR/ PWDs/ ESM/ Meritorious Sportsman) by registered post/ speed
post to the Flag Officer Commanding-in-chief (for Staff Officer
(Civilian Recruitment Cell), Headquarters Southern Naval Command, Kochi –
682 004 within 21 days from the date of advertisement & 28 days for
remote areas.
