INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:

Applicants are requested to write the name of the post applied on the envelope.

Two recent Passport size photograph of the applicant should be affixed with the application.


           
Nafed is a National level Cooperative is one of the Nodal Agencies of Govt. of India for undertaking procurement of Pulses, Oilseeds and Onion under Price Support Scheme & Price Stabilization Fund scheme of Govt. of India. Its Head Office is situated in Delhi with Branch net work on Pan- India basis.

In addition to PSS & PSF activities, Nafed also undertakes procurement of all types of agricultural commodities, Forest produce under its commercial operations in domestic as well international market. Nafed has also been entrusted with work of Pulses procurement on behalf of Govt. of India for buffer stocking.

Nafed also runs five retail outlets under the brand and name “Nafed Bazar” in Delhi, Jaipur, Pune and Shimla for sale of consumer / grocery items and tea in Nafed brand.

Nafed owns properties in the form of Office spaces, Warehouses, Godowns, Cold storages, Onion storage structure and Industrial Units in different parts of the country.

In order to augment its above business activities and operations as well to achieve targeted vision of becoming the leader in respective fields, Nafed intends to recruit specialized officials as under:-.

Qualification
:
B.Sc. / B.Sc. Agriculture from a recognized Indian Agriculture Universities.



Experience
:
Experience in handling of procurement, grading, storage, dispatches & sales of various agricultural commodities in any Organization having annual business turnover of Rs. 100 crore or more in the related filed.



Age Limit                  
:
Maximum 30 years





Job Requirements
:
He / She should be well versed with the procurement, grading storage, dispatches & sales of agriculture commodities specifically Pulses, Oilseeds and Horticultural crops in the APMC Mandies. He / She shall be aware about varietal difference, quality parameters of the above crops. He should be aware of drawing and analyzing the sample at spot, APMC Rules and Regulations etc. He / She should have skills of dealing with farmers and Administrative officials in the Mandies and Government officials. He should have the willingness to work during odd hours. He should be aware of the specifications of gunny / HDPE bags utilized for packing of agricultural commodities, method of stenciling of bags, storage and stacking of bags in Mandies Platform as well in Warehouses.
Essential

Should have good command over oral / written English language and must have passed local language paper in 10th class exam. He should also be proficient in using latest computer based applications in day to day office working.

Candidates shall be selected Region-wise by way of written Test at Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata, followed by interviews.

Three years having adequate knowledge accounting work, computer operation of latest Micro soft Technology in particular reference of F.A. package (standard / tailor made etc.) in any Organization having annual business turnover of minimum Rs. 100 crore.
