Indian Army Recruitment 2017 – Apply Online for Soldier Posts:
Indian Army has advertised a notification for the recruitment of
Soldier General Duty (Sol GD), Soldier Technical (Sol Tech), Soldier
Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Sol Clk/SKT), Soldier Tradesmen (Sol Tdn),
Sol Tech (Nur Asst) and Sol Tech (Nur Asst Vet) vacancies. Eligible
candidates can apply online from 09-08-2017 to 22-09-2017 & walk in
recruitment rally from 08 to 11-10-2017 at Military Station Haldwani to
enroll eligible candidates into the Indian Army from the four districts
of Uttarakhand (Almora, Nainital, Bageshwar, Udham Singh Nagar) of

Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should be between 17 years 06 months to 21 years for S.No-1,
17 years 06 months to 23 years for S.No-2 to 5 Posts as on 01-10-2017.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Minimum Matric/ SSLC/ 10th Class pass from
recognized Education Board/ Institutions with minimum 33% marks in each
subject (not applicable in additional subjects) and 45% marks in
aggregate for S.No-1, Minimum 10+2/equivalent pass in any stream (Arts,
Commerce, Science) with 60% in aggregate and 50% in each subject from
Education Boards/ Intermediate Institution recognized for enrolment,
have studied and passed English and Math/ Accounts/ Book Keeping at 10th
or 12th level for S.No-2, 10+2 simple pass in Science with Physics,
Chemistry, Math and English from Education Boards/Institutions
recognized for enrolment as compulsory with a minimum of 45% marks in
aggregate for S.No-3, Minimum 10 +2/ Intermediate exam passed in science
with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 40% marks in
each subject and 50% marks in aggregate for S.No-4, Minimum 10th Pass
for Chef Community, Steward, Washer man, Dresser (Barber), Kennelman,
Painter, Tailor, Equipment Repairer (Support Staff), Saddler (U),
Artisan (Metallurgy) and Artisan (Wood Worker) & Minimum 8th Pass
for House Keeper (Safaiwala), Masalchi and Syce for S.No-5 Posts.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on Stage-I : Screening (PFT, PMT,
Documentation Verification, Medical examination, Aptitude test,
Interview), Stage-II :Common Entrance Examination (CEE), Stage-III :
Evaluation, preparation of merit list and arms allotment & Stage-IV :
Dispatch to the Training Centre.
