Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has given a
notification for the recruitment of 72 Diploma Trainee, Junior
Technician Trainee, Assistant vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply
online from 10-08-2016 (10:00 Hrs) to 31-08-2016 (23:59 Hrs). Other

Age Limit: Candidates
upper age should be 27 years for General, 30 years for OBC(NCL), 32
years for SC/ ST for Post 01, 03, 27 years for General/ OBC(NCL)/ SC/ ST
for Post 02, 28 years for General/ ST, 31 years for OBC(NCL), 33 years
for SC for Post 04 as on 31-08-2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per
Govt. of India Directives.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Diploma in (Electrical Engineering for Post
01, Electronics & Communications Engineering for Post 02) with
minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC(NCL) candidates and pass marks for
SC/ ST/ PwD (OH-OL) candidates, ITI pass in Electrician Trade for Post
03, B.Com with 1st Division for General/ OBC (NCL)/ ST candidates and
pass marks for SC/ PwD (HH-PD) candidates for Post 04 from a recognized
University with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test, trade test & computer skill test.
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs. 360/- [Rs.300 + (Rs. 60 Bank Charges)] for
Post 01, 02, Rs. 260/- [Rs.200 + (Rs. 60 Bank Charges)] for post 03, 04
through challan to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India.
SC, ST, Person with Disability, Ex-Servicemen and Departmental
candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
