Age Limit: Candidate maximum age limit is 33 years & minimum age limit is not less than 18 years as on 01-08-2016. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ ST & Other candidates is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Certificate of competency issued by the Maharashtra Maritime Board/ Mercantile Marine Dept as per Indian Vessel Act & Knowledge of Swimming for Post 1, passed SSC or equivalent examination & National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in relevant trade for Post 2, 8 to 15, 20 & 21, passed SSC / HSC with full time three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Computer engineering with aggregate 55% marks for Posts 3 to 7, Passed VIII std & the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in relevant trade for Posts 16 to 19 with relevant experience. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test for Posts 2 to 7 & written test & trade test for other Posts.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- as processing fee (Rs.140/- (Including Bank charges of Rs.40/-)) by depositing at any nearest branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by using challan form. No fee for SC, ST, PWD & Ex servicemen category candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send application filled in Hindi, Marathi or English in block letters on an A-4 size paper in prescribed format along with self attested copies of certificates in support of their age, qualification, experience, caste certificate, defence discharge certificate & driving licence, MDL’s Challan copy by courier/ post to DGM (HR-Rec-NE), Recruitment Cell, Service Block- 3rd Floor, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai-400010 on or before 01-09-2016.
