UPSC CDS (II) Exam 2016 – Apply Online for 413 Posts:
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published notification to
conduct Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination (II), 2016 (Including
SSC Women (Non Technical) Course) under Indian Military Academy, Indian
Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.
Eligible candidates may apply online from 16-07-2016 to 12-08-2016 by
11:59 PM. Other details like age, educational qualification, selection
process, application fee & how to apply are given below

1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun – 143rd Course commencing in July, 2017: 150 Posts
2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala – Course commencing in July, 2017 Executive: 45 Posts
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad – (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in July, 2017: 32 Posts
4. Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai – 106th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in October, 2017: 175 Posts
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai – 20th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2017: 11 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should be born between not earlier than 02 -07-1993 and not
later than 01-07-1998 for IMA & Indian Naval Academy and age between
20 – 24 years as on 01-07-2016 ( i.e. candidates born not earlier than
02-07-1993 and not later than 01-07-1997 for Air Force Academy, Male
candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 02-07-1992 and
not later than 01-07-1998 for Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for
Men) & born not earlier than 02-07-1992 and not later than
01-07-1998 or Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical
Course).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Degree or equivalent for I.M.A. and Officers’
Training Academy, Degree in Engineering for Indian Naval Academy,
Degree (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of
Engineering for Air Force Academy from a recognised University.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on written examination, intelligence
test, personality test, documents verification & SSB interview
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs. 200/- through cash by deposited in any Branch
of SBI or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State
Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of
Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using any
Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. Application fee will be exempted to SC/
ST/ Female candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.upsc.gov.in from 16-07-2016 to 12-08-2016 by 11:59 PM.
Instructions for Applying Online:
1. Before applying online candidates should scan the copies of photograph and signature.
2. Log on to the website www.upsc.gov.in
3. Click on Online Link.
4. Again Click on “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
5. Select the desired post & fill the Part I Online Application form by selecting the link.
6. Fill all the mandatory details and Submit.
7. After successful submission, an unique Registration ID will be generated, note it.
8. Make the fee payment and revisit the website.
9. Select Part II Registration and Log in yourself.
10. Fill all the mandatory details in Part II of Application.
11. After submitting the application form, take print out of system generated application form for further reference.
